Who we are and what we do

Mintwswift was founded in 2019 by a small group of Mombasa residents who kept running into the same problem: local services that were either overpriced, unreliable, or impossible to reach. The business started with general task coordination and expanded steadily into structured appointment management and product sourcing as the community's needs became clearer. Today, our team of five operates from Nyali and covers the entire Mombasa county area — from the island CBD to Bamburi and Shanzu on the northern coast. We serve a mix of households, independent professionals, and small-to-medium enterprises who want a local contact they can count on. In just over five years, we have completed more than 1,200 engagements and maintained a rebooking rate of over 70 percent — a figure we track because it tells us whether we are actually delivering value, not just completing transactions. We do not advertise aggressively. Most of our growth comes from word of mouth within Mombasa's neighbourhoods, which is exactly the kind of validation we care about. The teal-modern look and feel of our brand was a deliberate choice: clean, calm, and distinct from the visual noise that dominates local advertising. It reflects how we operate — structured, modern, without unnecessary fuss.

Every engagement at Mintwswift follows the same basic structure: a conversation to confirm scope, a written summary before any work begins, execution with regular updates, and a sign-off that gives the client the final word. We work this way for every job, regardless of size, because the process is what protects both sides. Our team does not freelance outside Mintwswift, which means accountability stays within the organisation and you always have a single point of contact. In terms of values, we are committed to honesty over impression management. If a request is outside our capability, we say so immediately and, where possible, recommend a specific alternative rather than leaving the client without a path forward. We do not operate outside Mombasa county. We do not take on work that requires professional licences we do not hold — such as legal, medical, or structural engineering work. We do not promise outcomes that depend on external factors we cannot control, such as government processing times or third-party supplier availability. What we promise is that we will manage our side of every engagement to the standard we have maintained since 2019, and that you will never be left uninformed.
